Board of Directors

A voluntary Board of Directors governs Renfrew Educational Services. The Board members are nominated prior to the Annual General Meeting and are formally elected at this time. Board members represent the interests of all people served by this organization. Their primary function is to fashion the policies, which ensure that our organization is run effectively, legally, and ethically. They are trustees for the organization's 'money' enabling us to deliver exemplary programs and services.

The Board is responsible for long range plans and vision, and setting school fees. All parents are welcome to attend our Annual General Meeting. Notices are sent out in our newsletter regarding the date, time and location of the AGM.

Tom Buchanan

Chairperson

Tom has 20 years of senior financial and management experience, primarily in the oil and gas industry and is presently Chairman and CEO of Charger Energy Corporation. Tom is married with three children.

Vince Davoli

Treasurer

Vince is Senior Vice President, Western Canada, at EllisDon and has been in the construction industry for over 20 years. He is married and the father of three children.

Dave Allan

Secretary

Dave is VP, IOE Finance for Talisman Energy Inc. and has been in the oil and gas business since starting his career with Canadian Hunter Exploration Ltd. Dave is married with five children.

Forry Angus

Director

Forry has recently retired after working for many years as President of Lyfor Insurance Services Ltd. and has been a member of the Rotary Club of Calgary since 1989. Forry is married and has four grown children and seven grandchildren.

Shon Carey

Director

Shon is President of J&L Supply Co. and Shear Bits and has been in the oil and gas industry for over 20 years. He is married and the father of one child.

Michelle McKenna

Director

Michelle has many years of management and marketing experience and her own event planning company. She is married and the mother of 3 boys. Her middle son has special needs and attends Renfrew Educational Services.

Bob Spence

Director

Bob is VP/General Manager of Lafarge Canada Inc. and has served the company in many capacities throughout Canada. He is a volunteer member of the U of C Engineering Leaders Campaign Cabinet. Bob is married with two sons.
